NBA Youngboy  Postpones Album Release

NBA YoungBoy has confirmed that his anticipated fourth album of 2025, “Slime Cry” remains in production after missing release date of November 28. 

YoungBoy posted a statement on X regarding the delay: “Oh you want my album I forgot, Loading….,” accompanied by an emoji. The album was initially announced on October 16 as a capstone to a prolific year that included: “More Leaks” (March), “MASA” (July), and “DESHAWN” (September).

“MASA” amassed over 100 million global streams on Spotify, and became  YoungBoy’s 13th consecutive Billboard 200 No. 1 debut. 

“Slime Cry” cover art, depicts the rapper atop a pillar during his “Make America Slime Again Tour,” and a themes was previewed in an Instagram Live snippet: “You ever heard a slime cry? Get ready.”

The tour, featuring openers like DeeBaby, EBK Jaaybo, and K3, grossed millions across North American arenas, wrapping in New Orleans. September’s DESHAWN, which is a 20-track opus blending gritty street narratives with melodic vulnerability. He added 43 new songs to his catalog this summer  to sustain cultural relevance in a streaming-driven era.

Sources indicate that the final mixes are currently underway at his Utah-based studio, with a new release date pending announcement.
