Phoenix Suns Snap Los Angeles Lakers’ Seven – Game Streak

The Phoenix Suns ended the Los Angeles Lakers’ seven-game winning run with a convincing 125–108 road victory on Monday.

Dillon Brooks led the charge with 33 points. He scored 15 in the second quarter and added 10 more in the third as Phoenix built a healthy lead.  Collin Gillespie also impressed, pouring in 28 points, eight from three-point range, while Royce O’Neale dished 11 assists.

The Suns lost Devin Booker to a groin injury after the first quarter, but his early 11-point contribution included reaching a career milestone of 17,000 points.

For the Lakers, Luka Dončić scored 38 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and Austin Reaves added 16 points, but the team committed 22 turnovers, resulting in 32 points for Phoenix off those mistakes.

A pivotal stretch came late in the second quarter when Phoenix outscored the Lakers 19–4 to take a 66–52 lead into halftime.
