Drake’s apparel line, NOCTA, sold out its limited-edition Black Friday Mystery Box drop within minutes of going live. The exclusive promotion offered buyers a randomized assortment of rare merchandise.
Priced at $50, the black-branded boxes were launched for sale on NOCTA’s official website. The boxes contained over 40 rare items, including friends-and-family exclusives, one-of-one prototypes created for Drake, and sold-out stock. Highlights included custom Gore-Tex jackets and limited-edition NOCTA Glide sneakers in colours like Green and Kentucky Blue.
A NOCTA spokesperson stated the drop was designed to provide unique access: “NOCTA isn’t just about products; it’s access to pieces that tell a story.”
The lottery-style release underscores the brand’s focus on blending streetwear with scarcity. NOCTA, a Nike collaboration launched in 2020, has gained a significant following for its functional sports apparel and accessories. Post-launch social media activities showed buyers showcasing their items, which included highly coveted prototype items.
