Zayn Malik has mocked former One Direction bandmate Harry Styles over the high ticket prices for Styles’ upcoming tour.
Comments Made During Las Vegas Residency
Speaking at his Las Vegas residency at Park MGM, Malik addressed the crowd:
“Who’s from Vegas? Who’s from elsewhere? I just want to say a big, big thank you to each and every single one of you for being here with me tonight.”
He added:
“You could have been anywhere but you decided to spend your night with me. Hopefully, the ticket prices weren’t too high.”
Malik then joked:
“Just sayin’, anyway, who wants to hear another song?!”
Ticket Price Comparison
Tickets for Styles’ Wembley Stadium shows in London ranged from about $61 to more than $643. For his Madison Square Garden residency in New York, prices ranged from about $50 to $1,180.
By comparison, tickets for Malik’s Park MGM performances were priced between $30 and $88, placing the shows among the more accessible options in the Las Vegas concert market.
