50 Cent and Netflix Sued Over Diddy Documentary

Former sex worker Clayton Howard has filed a lawsuit against 50 Cent and Netflix, alleging misrepresentation of his testimony in the documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoning.

Allegations of Edited and Distorted Testimony

According to the court filing, Howard contends that the production excised critical portions of his interview. The lawsuit alleges that the final edit reframed his account by portraying Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s former partner, as a victim while excluding his claim that he was trafficked by her.

The complaint states:

“Defendants deliberately edited, distorted, and misrepresented plaintiff’s account to portray Cassie Ventura as a victim, while omitting plaintiff’s testimony that he was sex trafficked by Ventura, thereby inflicting severe harm upon plaintiff’s reputation.”

Claims of Personal and Commercial Motives

The lawsuit further alleges:

“This calculated misrepresentation was done in furtherance of Curtis Jackson’s personal and business vendetta against Sean Combs and to create a commercially profitable narrative.”

Howard is seeking financial damages of at least $20 million and is requesting that Netflix attach a notice to the documentary stating that accounts are edited and may not reflect the complete testimony.

Background and Ongoing Legal Proceedings

Sean Combs: The Reckoning premiered in December 2025 and examines allegations of misconduct involving Diddy. The series features interviews with former associates and individuals connected to past claims, including Howard.

In July 2025, Howard filed a separate lawsuit against Diddy and Cassie, alleging sex trafficking and seeking damages for medical harm and financial loss. As of this report, neither Netflix nor 50 Cent has issued a public response, and no court rulings have been made.
