The iconic Nigerian entertainment event “Warri Again?” returned in grand style. Originally from Warri, Delta State, the event took place in Lagos for its Christmas and Detty December special on December 26 at the Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island.
The event was organized by Brownhill Events Inc., the company founded by former NFF President Amaju Pinnick and powered by Glenfiddich. It was hosted by actor and comedian Ayodeji Richard Makun, popularly known as AY.
Distinguished Guests

Festus Keyamo’s Remarks
In an interview with HipTV, Festus Keyamo spoke with pride about hailing from Warri. He described Warri Again as a platform bringing the identity and traits of the Warri people to Lagos. He added that he expected nothing short of excellence from the 24th edition.
Music Lineup and Artiste Reactions
The event featured a stacked lineup including Shallipopi, Zlatan, Odumodublvck, Seyi Vibez, Nasboi, Spyro, Pheelz, Rudeboy, Zerrydl, Fola, Ice Prince, M.I, Iyanya, Fido, Nasboi, and others.
Odumodublvck appreciated Amaju Pinnick for his consistency over the years.
Nasboi, after his performance, expressed gratitude and excitement for the opportunity to perform. Speaking on the longevity of the event, he described the 24th edition as a sign of consistency and growth.
DJ Performances
DJs for the night included DJ Dimple Nipple, DJ Casper, and DJ Horlait.
DJ Dimple Nipple described the experience as her third time on the Warri Again stage. She highlighted crowd energy, music quality, sound, and stage production as standout elements of the event.
Dope Caesar also commended the show for strong turnouts and memorable experiences in both Warri and Lagos. She praised Amaju Pinnick for supporting artistes, DJs, and the entertainment industry.
Comedy Segment
Comedy performances came from Gordons, Destalker, MC Edopikin, Acapella, Mr Paul, and MC Casino.
Comedian Destalker noted that each edition of Warri Again remains unpredictable and filled with surprises. He praised the organisers for delivering value to attendees and hosting over 26 music acts.
Amaju Pinnick’s Statement
Amaju Pinnick said in an exclusive interview with HipTV that he was grateful for the success of the event. He explained that Warri Again was not driven by personal gain but by a desire to promote Warri and share his love for the city.
Amajualso recounted how Burna Boy emerged as a surprise act, explaining that he first witnessed Burna Boy and Shallipopi perform together in France. He said he made efforts to ensure Warri Again would mark their first performance together again in Nigeria.
Event Production Challenges
Entrepreneur and wife of Amaju Pinnick, Dr Julie Pinnick, spoke on the challenges of organizing the event over the years. She noted that while there had been no major setbacks, issues such as artiste cancellations and late arrivals occasionally occurred.
