Stray Kids have extended their record on the Billboard 200 chart, debuting their new EP, “DO IT”, at number one on the chart. The achievement extended their record as the first group to have eight consecutive albums debut at number one on the chart.
The five-track set logged 295,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. during the week ending November 26, according to Luminate data.
The debut is the seventh-largest of the year and surpasses Taylor Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” from its perch atop the Top 200 table after 23 weeks.
The new achievement marks Stray Kids’ eighth consecutive No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, extending their record as the K-pop group with the most atop the chart. All eight of their charting entries, beginning with “ODDINARY” in 2022, have debuted at the summit, a first in the chart’s 69-year history.
The EP’s unit count included 286,000 sales, the fourth-largest sales week of 2025. Global pre-saves for “DO IT” surpassed 1 million on Spotify, also setting a new record for a K-pop release.
The eight-member group acknowledged the fans’ role in the milestone. In a group statement, they said, “Hitting No. 1 eight times is surreal; it’s our STAYs’ love that powers every track.” The group is scheduled to appear at the 40th Golden Disc Awards in Taipei on January 10, 2026.
Stray Kids has just made history again! Their new EP, “DO IT”, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, extending their record as the first group to have eight consecutive albums debut at number one on the chart. This achievement puts them in an elite group, alongside The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, as one of the top three groups with the most number one albums on the Billboard 200 chart.
