Ex-Big Brother Naija reality star Saga has released his first movie, Falling Notes. The Nollywood romantic drama tells the story of a young musician trying to find balance between fame, love, and self-discovery.
Speaking with Hip TV, Saga revealed the inspiration behind the movie’s title. He said, “Some people think Falling Note is for money, but Falling Note is the note of music.”
He revealed that all the songs in the movie soundtrack are from his new album. “I produced the movie and was also part of writing the movie and the music,” he said. He added that the process was demanding but fulfilling.
Juggling several roles ranging from choosing locations and acting to recording and editing, Saga said, taught him something new. “It was really challenging, because it was my first time,” he said.
Talking about his acting journey, Saga said that after leaving the Big Brother house, he knew he wanted to build a career in film. Falling Notes gave him a chance to prove his creativity and test his abilities in front of and behind the camera.
Reflecting on how far he has come, Saga said, “Now I see myself on a great path because I always want to create art.”
Regarding his personal life, Saga described himself as a “lover boy”, adding that when the right woman comes, he hopes to settle down and have children.
Saga praised the new generation of Nollywood actors, calling them talented and hard-working. Falling Notes was directed by Valentine Edochie, with cinematography by Mayowa Oladigbolu and music production by Nastii Beats. Falling Notes was officially released on October 19, 2025, on SagaDeolu TV on YouTube.
