Real Madrid ended a three-match winless streak in LaLiga with a confident 3–0 away victory at Athletic Club on Wednesday night.
Kylian Mbappé delivered the first blow. He fired home in the 7th minute after a piercing long pass from Trent Alexander-Arnold. The assist marks Arnold’s first for Real Madrid since he joined the club in 2025. Then just before half-time, Eduardo Camavinga nodded in a well-timed header to make it 2–0.
Mbappé sealed the win with his second goal of the night in the 59th minute. He fired a curling strike from outside the box that beat the keeper to complete his brace.
The win lifts Real Madrid to 36 points from 15 games. They are now just one point behind league leaders FC Barcelona. Athletic remains in eighth place.
