Kano Pillars will return to the Sani Abacha Stadium for their next NPFL home fixture against Nasarawa United on Monday, ending months of enforced relocation to Katsina.
Kano Pillars Ban And Review
The former champions were banished from Kano in October after crowd trouble during a 1–1 draw with Shooting Stars, an incident that left players and officials injured. The Nigeria Football Federation later reviewed the punishment, reducing an indefinite ban to a five-match stadium closure.
Pillars concluded their stay at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium with a 2–1 win over Plateau United on Sunday, sealed by a second-half strike from Ahmed Musa.
Appreciation and Table Position
Ahead of their return, the club thanked Katsina United, state authorities and fans for their support and hospitality. Kano Pillars currently sit 20th on the NPFL table with 16 points from 18 matches.
