“I Didn’t Think I Would Be Picked” – Jason Jae On BBNaija Auditions
Jason Jae revealed that a friend sent him the audition link, and he decided to register without any expectations of being selected.
“I didn’t think I would be picked,” he said, adding that the experience changed his perception of the audition process. According to him, BBNaija’s selection process is centred on personality and fit, rather than who an applicant knows.
Music Journey And Early Influences
Speaking on his music journey, Jason Jae said his artistic direction began to take shape during his university years, where he performed at various events while incorporating dance into his performances.
He later moved to Lagos to focus fully on music and acknowledged singer Dare Art Alade for supporting him during his early days in the city.

The artist described his current sound as Afro-Amapiano, explaining that his focus is on creating high-energy records suited for clubs and live performances.
Beyond performing, Jason Jae said he is actively involved in songwriting and confirmed that he co-wrote Eltee Skhillz’s hit song “ODG (Odogwu Na The Spender)”.
