The project opened with 280,000 equivalent album units in the United States during its first week, according to Luminate.

Streaming accounted for 166,500 units, representing 169.5 million on-demand streams across official audio and video platforms.
Album sales reached 113,000 units, while track equivalent albums contributed 500 units. The release posts the largest opening week for a rap album since March 2025.
Vinyl Sales Boost Opening Week
Vinyl sales delivered a significant boost, with about 80,000 copies purchased on vinyl, representing roughly 71 percent of total album sales.
This marks the first time a J. Cole album has been released on vinyl simultaneously with digital and streaming formats.
