Afrobeat singer and songwriter Fola has expressed excitement after his album Catharsis surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify less than two months after its release.
Speaking with Hip TV News, the artist described the achievement as “mind-blowing” and one of the most beautiful moments of his career. He credited the success to hard work, divine grace, and the unwavering support of his fans. “It’s such an amazing milestone for me. So much thanks to God and my fans,” he said.
Fola explained that the album represents a journey of healing and growth, revealing that it was shaped by several personal experiences. He shared that he wanted listeners to feel a range of emotions while engaging with his music. “I want people to know it’s okay to feel something, to cry, to love, to fail, and to win,” he said.
