Eko Hotels And Suites Unveils Tropical Christmas Wonderland 2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of Tropical Christmas Wonderland, tagged Kingdom of Lights, was officially unveiled at a press conference held on November 11 at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Present at the event were the General Manager of Eko Hotels and Suites, Danny Kioupouroglou; Director of Sales and Marketing, Dr Iyadunni Gbadebo; and partners, including Zenith Bank, represented by the Group Head, Corporate Communications, Chinedu Zephaniah, and Maltina, represented by the Portfolio Manager, Non-Alcoholic Nigerian Breweries Plc, Elohor Olumide-Awe.

Also in attendance were members of the Lagos Tourism Foundation Board, Her Royal Highness, Erelu Dosunmu, Dr Tunde Lawrenson, and the Managing Director of Outori Limited, Wole Olagundoye.

In an exclusive interview with HipTV, Danny Kioupouroglou explained that this year’s Kingdom of Lights experience continues the legacy of the Tropical Christmas Wonderland, which has thrilled guests for seven years. He described it as a phenomenal experience, promising an unforgettable festive atmosphere.

Dr Iyadunni Gbadebo noted that preparations for the event are already in full swing. She emphasized that this year’s edition is powered not only by Eko Hotels and Suites but also by supporting brands Maltina and Zenith Bank, who share the vision of creating an inclusive, family-oriented holiday experience.

Reflecting on the journey since inception, she said the project has been phenomenal, commending the partner brands for their dedication to a cause that goes beyond brand visibility and contributes to nation-building.

She added that the Tropical Christmas Wonderland is a unifying celebration, describing December as a season of togetherness where people of all faiths gather to share joy and happiness.

Zenith Bank’s Group Head of Corporate Communications, Chinedu Zephaniah, reiterated the bank’s long-standing partnership with Eko Hotels and Suites, noting that it began with the popular Zenith Bank Light-Up Ajose Adeogun initiative. He said the collaboration has since evolved into a much larger public experience that spreads holiday cheer across Lagos. He encouraged families to attend this year’s edition, assuring them of exciting new attractions and grander displays.

Her Royal Highness Erelu Abiola Dosunmu praised the initiative as a welcome effort to promote tourism in Nigeria and across Africa. She described the Kingdom of Lights as a “joy giver” for adults, children, and families. She commended Eko Hotels and Suites for its consistent dedication to excellence and encouraged the public to take advantage of the well-curated holiday packages.

Wole Olagundoye, Managing Director of Outori Limited, expressed pride in the long-term partnership with Eko Hotels and Suites, stating that their collaboration over the past seven years has helped bring the vision of the Tropical Christmas Wonderland to life once again.
