Nigerian music executive and entrepreneur Ubi Franklin was honoured by friends and industry colleagues with a star-studded surprise 40th birthday anniversary dinner on 2 February 2026.
The dinner took place at FarFallino Italian Restaurant, Black Diamond Hotel, Victoria Island. The event, styled as an All White Party, attracted prominent personalities from the entertainment, fashion, and business sectors.

The evening was anchored by Iyanya, who welcomed guests and guided them through a programme of speeches, prayers, and tributes.

The celebrations began with a prayer from Apostle Flourish Peter, who asked for continued blessings on Ubi as he marked the milestone age.
Ubi Franklin later addressed the gathering, expressing gratitude to those who organised the surprise.
“I am very very happy to have you all here,” he said.

“Ubi is a blessing to Afrobeats. He has played a very significant role in shaping the industry and supporting emerging talents,” Iyanya said.
