Drake Tops Spotify with 16 Billion Streams

Drake has surpassed 16 billion streams on Spotify in 2025 alone, cementing his position as the most-streamed rapper in the platform’s history.

The Canadian superstar continues to dominate thanks to a combination of his deep catalogue and fresh releases, including his chart-topping collaborative album with PartyNextDoor, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, released in February.

As of November, Drake averages 51.6 million daily streams, narrowly ahead of Bad Bunny (51.5 million), with The Weeknd at 41.1 million and Kanye West at 24.1 million, according to real-time Spotify tracking data.

Drake appears regularly on the Billboard Hot 100. Rapper Fat Joe recently stated that Drake has kept hip-hop present on the chart for the past decade.

The rapper has teased a potential new solo project reportedly titled ICEMAN.  His Producer Gordo described the work as their best to date. Tracks titled “What Did I Miss?” and “Dog House” featuring Yeat have been released.

While no official release date has been announced, Drake has acknowledged the intense fan theories and hours-long breakdown videos that accompany every clue he drops, a level of audience interaction few artists command.
