Until now, no Afrobeats or African artiste had appeared on the cover, making Davido’s feature a historic first.

The cover story includes an in-depth interview where Davido speaks about his journey, the rise of Afrobeats, and future plans. One major highlight was his confirmation of a new collaborative project with American R&B star Chris Brown.

I have a project with Chris Brown, by the grace of God, coming out next year, Davido revealed.

He explained that the plan includes a joint EP and a tour across Africa and Europe in 2026. The duo already share a strong musical history with hits such as “Blow My Mind” and “Sensational.” According to Davido, they have recorded over 20 songs together.

Davido’s Milestones In Afrobeats

His achievements include BET Awards and MTV Europe Music Awards, notably Best African Act, as well as multiple Headies Artiste of the Year awards for hits like “If” and “Aye.” He has also earned Grammy nominations for albums and songs such as Timeless and Unavailable.

Trailblazing International Performances
