Bad Bunny has kicked off his highly anticipated Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour, in the Dominican Republic. The sold-out opening show took place at Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium in Santo Domingo.
The concerts launched Bad Bunny’s first full world tour following his 31-night residency in Puerto Rico earlier this year. The tour is scheduled to continue across Latin America before moving on to Europe and Asia.
Bad Bunny has always had a soft soft for the Dominican Republic. In 2022, he dedicated a Latin Grammy award to the country and sold out the same stadium for two consecutive nights.
Bad Bunny has also referenced Dominican culture in several hit songs, including “Tití Me Preguntó,” “La Romana” with El Alfa, and “El Apagón.” During the opening night, he named the premium seating section “Los Vecinos” as a nod to fans in the country.
The shows also unveiled a large staging setup that featured the casita house structure outside Puerto Rico for the first time.
Fresh off winning Album of the Year at the twenty-sixth Annual Latin Grammy Awards for Debí Tirar Más Fotos, along with four more awards this month, Bad Bunny begins the tour with strong momentum.
