Morocco’s capital, Rabat, will host next month’s African World Cup playoffs. CAF confirmed that three different stadiums in Rabat will stage the three matches.
Nigeria will face Gabon on November 13 at 16:00 GMT. Cameroon will take on DR Congo at 19:00 GMT the same day. A draw will determine whether matches go to Stade El Barid or Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex.
The winners of those semi-finals will meet in a final on November 16 at Stade Prince Héritier Moulay Abdellah. The team that wins that match will advance to the intercontinental playoffs in March.
Nine African teams have already qualified for the 2026 World Cup by winning their groups. The playoffs are to decide Africa’s possible 10th representative. The four teams taking part were the best runners-up from the nine qualifying groups.
