Arsenal extended their perfect start to the 2025–26 UEFA Champions League group stage by defeating Club Brugge 3–0 away on Wednesday. This gives Arsenal six wins from six and almost sealing automatic qualification to the knockout rounds.
The Gunners took the lead in the 25th minute through Noni Madueke, who collected the ball near the halfway line, surged past defenders, and unleashed a fierce strike into the net.
Just after half-time, Madueke added his second with a simple header from a cross by Martín Zubimendi, putting Arsenal firmly in control.
The third goal came in the 56th minute from Gabriel Martinelli, who cut in from the left and curled a powerful right-footed shot into the net. The goal extends his streak to five goals in five Champions League appearances this season.
Despite squad changes due to injuries, Arsenal looked sharp and in control throughout.
Arsenal remain top of the Champions League table with 18 points. Meanwhile, Club Brugge have just 4 points and sit 31st on the table.
