The collaborative album by Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR, “$ome $exy $ongs 4 U”, has officially been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The certification confirms the project has reached one million equivalent album units sold in the United States since its release.
The 21-track album, released on February 14, 2025, marks the first full-length collaboration between the two Toronto artistes.
“$ome $exy $ongs 4 U” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and generated 246,000 equivalent album units in its first week. This debut gave PARTYNEXTDOOR his first chart-topping album, while simultaneously earning Drake his 14th No. 1 rap album, tying him with Jay-Z for the most in Billboard 200 history. As of November 10, 2025, the album remains on the chart at No. 28.
Several tracks from the album have also earned individual RIAA certifications. The lead single, “NOKIA”, is now certified 2x platinum for selling over 2 million units. Additionally, six other songs have achieved gold status, each surpassing 500,000 units sold, including “CN TOWER”, “SOMEBODY LOVES ME”, and “DIE TRYING”.
The platinum achievement comes as the album’s track, “SOMEBODY LOVES ME”, earned Drake a Grammy Award nomination for Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 2026 ceremony.
