Young Jonn is set to release his sophomore album Blue Disco on November 21.
The Chocolate City signee, who first teased the project’s completion back in October with a faith-inspired Instagram post:
“Been waiting to hear God’s voice and I finally did! I can now boldly say the album is done! BLUE DISCO – 20 TRACKS!” accompanied by a symbolic photo of loaded travel bags and boots in a truck bed, has now escalated the hype.
He shared a cinematic 50-second trailer that blends moody blue visuals, pulsating beats, and poetic voiceovers like “Concrete, cracked but hold” and “Chaos swirls but we don’t fold… We move in rhythm: Blue Disco.” The clip ends with the striking album cover, a stylized portrait against a deep blue backdrop, and the loaded tracklist reveal.
The album features a wide array of artistes; Wizkid appears on Cash Flow, a follow up to their earlier collaboration. Rema joins him on Lalala. Asake appears on two tracks, including 2 Factor, which also features Focalistic. The guest list also extends to Olamide, Shenseea and Franglish.
