Kylian Mbappé struck twice as France secured a 4-0 home win over Ukraine at Parc des Princes. Their win books their place in the 2026 FIFA World Cup for an eighth consecutive time.
Mbappé opened the scoring in the 55th minute from a chipped penalty after Michael Olise had been fouled in the box. He added a second in the 83rd minute.
Olise found the net himself in the 76th minute, before Hugo Ekitiké sealed the victory with his first international goal late on.
The result keeps France top of Group D with 13 points from five games over second-placed Iceland with 7 points.
The victory guarantees France will be seeded when the draw for the tournament is held on December 5
Looking ahead, France will complete their group campaign away to Azerbaijan on Sunday.
