Tyler, The Creator Shares Marty Supreme Set Photos

Tyler, The Creator has shared behind-the-scenes photographs from the film Marty Supreme, which was released in cinemas on Christmas Day. The film is directed by Josh Safdie and stars Timothée Chalamet in the lead role. Tyler appears in the production as Wally, a taxi driver.

Images Shared From The Film Set

The images were posted on Tyler’s verified Instagram account and show moments captured during filming. Several photographs include director Josh Safdie and members of the cast. The post confirms that filming took place during the same period his album Chromakopia was released earlier in 2025.

In the caption accompanying the images, Tyler wrote, “MARTY SUPREME IN THEATRES NOW.” He also wrote, “Started shooting this movie same week CHROMAKOPIA came out.” The post references the production schedule and acknowledges Safdie’s role in the project.

Film Background And Cast Details

Marty Supreme is loosely based on the life of American table tennis figure Marty Reisman. The cast includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Abel Ferrara, and Fran Drescher. The film held its first public screening at the New York Film Festival before its cinema release.

Comments On Filming Period

Tyler told Apple Music about the filming period and its demands. He said, “I got no sleep,” while discussing the production schedule.

Marty Supreme continues its cinema run following its December release, with promotional activity including cast appearances and online posts shared by those involved in the production.
