Travis Scott appeared in a new trailer for Christopher Nolan’s film The Odyssey, revealed during the NFL’s AFC Championship Game. The brief television spot shows Scott in period costume delivering a line of dialogue inside a dramatic interior scene.
The footage places Scott among a cast led by Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Lupita Nyong’o, and Jon Bernthal. In the scene, Scott stands beside Holland’s Telemachus and Bernthal’s Menelaus.
Nolan’s Epic And Scott’s Expanding Footprint
The Odyssey is Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s ancient Greek epic following Odysseus’ journey home after the Trojan War. Damon plays Odysseus, while Hathaway portrays Penelope. Holland appears as Telemachus, Odysseus’ son. Universal confirmed the production is shot entirely on IMAX 70 mm across multiple international locations.
Scott has previously worked with Nolan on the 2020 film Tenet, where he contributed the track “The Plan” for the soundtrack. This marks his first on-screen speaking role in a Nolan-directed project. Universal has not released the name of his character or the scope of his involvement.
Production on The Odyssey continues ahead of its global rollout. Universal confirmed that a full trailer will be released online in the coming weeks. The film is scheduled for release on 17 July 2026 through Universal Pictures.
