The Super Eagles have arrived in Fes, Morocco, as preparations continue for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The team touched down wearing coordinated deep-green traditional outfits, featuring embroidered designs, matching caps and casual footwear.

Final Phase of Preparations
Nigeria recently concluded a training camp in Egypt, where the squad held several sessions and played an international friendly against the Pharaohs.
The match ended in a 2–1 defeat at the Cairo International Stadium, marking head coach Éric Chelle’s first loss since taking charge.
AFCON Group Stage Fixtures
Nigeria, drawn in Group C, will open their AFCON 2025 campaign against Tanzania on December 23. They will then face Tunisia on December 27 and wrap up the group stage against Uganda on December 30.
Coach Chelle will lead the Super Eagles as they aim for a strong showing in Morocco, chasing a fourth AFCON title. The tournament also gives Nigeria a chance to rebuild confidence after missing out on qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
