Snoop Dogg Makes NBA Broadcast Analyst Debut on NBC

Snoop Dogg made his NBA broadcast analyst debut during the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors game. He joined NBC’s Peacock coverage at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. He appeared as a guest analyst for the second half of the contest. He worked alongside Terry Gannon and Reggie Miller.

Ahead of the game, Snoop Dogg conducted a brief courtside interview with Stephen Curry. He later entered the commentary booth as play resumed.

Highlights From Snoop’s Broadcast Debut

When Curry scored, he referred to the shot as “Steph-isticated.” After a steal, he said, “That’s cookies and cream.”

A notable moment occurred after Golden State coach Steve Kerr was ejected following a dispute with officials. As Kerr exited the court, Snoop said, “Steve gon’ get thrown out. Get him out of there.” “You in Inglewood right now. That Arizona Wildcat came out.”

Snoop To Cover Olympics Next

This appearance was not Snoop Dogg’s first involvement in sports broadcasting. He previously contributed commentary during NFL programming and served as an on-air correspondent for NBC’s Olympic coverage.

Snoop Dogg is scheduled to travel to Milan for the 2026 Winter Olympics. NBC confirmed he will return as a special correspondent.
