Paramount Pictures has removed the untitled live-action comedy film starring Kendrick Lamar from its release schedule.
The film, which was previously slated for a March 20, 2026, release date, has now been postponed indefinitely.
This is the project’s second postponement; it was originally scheduled for release on July 4, 2025. The delay is attributed to the busy production schedules of the creators; Kendrick Lamar is on his Grand National Tour, which is scheduled to run through December 2025, while his co-producers Trey Parker and Matt Stone are finalizing the production of South Park’s 28th season.
The producers issued a joint statement acknowledging the schedule shift: “It’s true—we’re moving (again). We’re working hard at finishing the movie.”
The film, written by comedian Vernon Chatman, features actors Chloe East and Celeste O’Connor and Kendrick Lamar.
