The Orlando Magic secured a dominant 130-91 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night in Milwaukee.
Banchero Leads Magic Scoring
Paolo Banchero scored a game-high 33 points as Orlando cruised to victory.
Jalen Suggs added 20 points while Desmond Bane contributed 18 points and a game-high nine assists.
The victory extended the Magic’s winning streak to four games.
“We moved the ball and defended the way we wanted,” Banchero said. “When we play like that, we can put teams under pressure all night.”
Bucks Struggle Without Key Players
Milwaukee played without Giannis Antetokounmpo due to a calf injury. Kevin Porter Jr. was also unavailable because of a knee injury.
The Bucks struggled to find their rhythm early, shooting just 4-of-16 in the opening quarter and scoring 15 points as Orlando built a 25-15 lead.
Orlando eventually carried a 67-55 advantage into halftime.
Magic Take Control in Third Quarter
Orlando tightened its grip in the third quarter, holding Milwaukee to just nine points over the first 10 minutes while shooting more than 60 percent from the field.
The strong run extended their lead to 100-70 entering the final period.
Portis Records Historic Double-Double
Bobby Portis led Milwaukee with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
He recorded his 87th career double-double off the bench, moving into second place on the National Basketball Association all-time list behind Detlef Schrempf (106).
Magic Secure Season Series
The Magic finished 14-of-33 from three-point range and secured the season series 2-1.
The victory marks Orlando’s first series win over Milwaukee since the 2011–12 campaign.
