The visiting New York Knicks cruised to a 127-98 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.
Jalen Brunson scored 22 of his game-high 27 points in a blistering first quarter. He capped the opening period with a last-second mid-range jumper, giving New York a 38-30 lead and setting the tone for a dominant performance.
Knicks Dominate With Efficient Shooting
OG Anunoby added 24 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns recorded 17 points and 13 rebounds as the Knicks overwhelmed Milwaukee with efficient shooting.
New York converted 21 of their 42 attempts from three-point range in an impressive display from beyond the arc.
Landry Shamet scored 15 points and Josh Hart added 12. Mikal Bridges and Mohamed Diawara also contributed 10 points each to support the victory.
Second-Quarter Surge Breaks Game Open
New York seized control in the second quarter, stretching the lead to 68-48 late in the half behind Brunson’s fourth three-pointer and Anunoby’s dunk.
The Knicks carried a 20-point advantage into halftime, with Brunson leading all scorers with 25 first-half points.
Bucks Struggle to Respond
Milwaukee, which had won eight of its previous 10 games, was led by Myles Turner with 19 points.
Kyle Kuzma scored 17, while Bobby Portis added 14. Kevin Porter Jr. finished with 11 points and 10 assists.
However, the Bucks were undone by 16 turnovers and struggled to contain New York’s perimeter attack.
Knicks Seal Emphatic Win
The Knicks put the game beyond doubt in the second half. Anunoby scored the team’s first 11 points of the third quarter, and Towns later drilled a three-pointer that pushed the lead to 32 in the fourth, sealing a comprehensive road victory.
