NBA YoungBoy has announced that his new studio album, Slime Cry, will be released on Friday, 16 January 2026.
NBA Youngboy Confirms Album Release Date
The album was first revealed on 16 October 2025 with plans for a late November release. That date passed without the project arriving on streaming platforms. Online discussion followed, leading YoungBoy to address the delay in a short message that read,
“Oh, you want my album I forgot. Loading…”.
In December, the rapper suggested a different approach. A brief social media post read: “My album will just hit your phone unexpectedly.” The new countdown replaced that idea with a fixed schedule, placing the project back into a traditional rollout.
Recent Projects And Tour Activity
Slime Cry follows an active period in YoungBoy’s career. In 2025, he released More Leaks, MASA, and DESHAWN. Each project arrived within months.
The MASA Tour supported the MASA album across North America. Unreleased materials were debuted at different tour stops. In Atlanta, YoungBoy appeared with Birdman and Herm The Black Sheep. The appearance featured “Fk That N*a” in a live setting. The track was later officially released in November.
YoungBoy has since released “Top Cobain”, offering an early preview of Slime Cry.
