Rapper NBA YoungBoy has avoided criminal charges following a traffic stop in Utah, where illicit drugs were discovered inside a vehicle he was traveling in.
The incident occurred on 31 December 2025 along Interstate 15 in Utah County, when Utah Highway Patrol officers stopped a car for a traffic violation. The vehicle was driven by a male, with a female passenger and NBA YoungBoy also inside at the time of the stop.

During the stop, officers carried out a search based on probable cause and recovered illicit drugs from the vehicle. According to police, the male driver and the female passenger claimed ownership of the substances, leading officers to focus their investigation on those two individuals.
Police Confirm No Charges Against Rapper
Authorities confirmed that NBA YoungBoy was not arrested and has not been charged in connection with the discovery. Police also stated that the money found inside the vehicle was not linked to the drugs and was not connected to him in any way.
The Utah County Attorney’s Office is currently reviewing possible drug possession–related charges for the driver and the female passenger.
