Michael Jackson has secured two positions in the top 10 of Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales chart.
“They Don’t Care About Us” debuts at number 10, while “Billie Jean” re-enters at number 8.
Billie Jean Returns to the Charts
Originally released in 1983 as the second single from the album Thriller, “Billie Jean” previously reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 during its original run.
The track also appeared on the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excluding U.S. charts.
Its latest performance places the song back among the best-selling R&B digital tracks in America.
They Don’t Care About Us Enters Top 10
Released in April 1996 from HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I, “They Don’t Care About Us” enters the R&B Digital Song Sales top 10 for the first time.
The single originally peaked at number 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Album Gains and Biopic Anticipation
Jackson’s catalogue is also gaining ground on album rankings. His compilation Number Ones climbs to number 35 on the Billboard Top Streaming Albums chart after debuting at number 36 the previous week.
Renewed interest in Jackson’s life and career continues years after his death. A biographical film titled Michael is scheduled for worldwide release on 24 April 2026. The film stars his nephew Jaafar Jackson and highlights the ongoing public fascination with his life, as his music continues to achieve measurable success on digital charts.
