Luka Dončić delivered a dominant display as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Utah Jazz 143–135 on Thursday night in Salt Lake City.
The Slovenian star finished with 45 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds, along with five steals, recording his 85th career triple-double and his fifth since joining the Lakers.
Game Turning Point
Utah raced to a fast start, shooting 70 percent in the first quarter and leading by nine at halftime. The Lakers responded after the break, closing the gap before pulling away with a strong fourth-quarter run.
LeBron James supported Dončić with 28 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. Marcus Smart added 17 points, while Jaxson Hayes scored 16.
Utah Jazz Effort
Keyonte George led Utah with 34 points and eight assists, while Isaiah Collier recorded 18 points and 13 assists off the bench.
The result marked the Lakers’ third win over the Jazz this season.
