Katy Perry has unveiled a striking new image to promote her upcoming single, “Bandaids,” due for release on Thursday.

The pop star shared the photo on Tuesday, showing her face marked with visible bruises and scratches. The image was captioned only with the song title and release date.

The album will be her first new release since the 2024 album “143”.  That record included collaborations with producers Dr Luke, Max Martin, and Stargate and featured the singles “Woman’s World”, “Lifetimes”, and “I’m His, He’s Mine”.

Katy Perry is nearing the end of her global Lifetimes tour, which began in Mexico City in April. She is currently performing in Europe, with upcoming shows in Spain, China, and Japan before concluding in Abu Dhabi on December 7.

In recent months, Perry’s personal life has drawn attention following her split from actor Orlando Bloom in July. She later appeared publicly with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, confirming their relationship.

During a London concert in October, Perry playfully addressed her new relationship status. Responding to a fan’s marriage proposal, she joked about being newly single just “48 hours ago,” referencing the timing before her appearance with Trudeau in Paris days later.
