Ja Rule has issued a public apology following a heated confrontation with Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda aboard a Delta Airlines flight that went viral.
The incident occurred on February 9, 2026, on a flight from San Francisco to New York City, shortly after Super Bowl LX. Video footage shared online shows Ja Rule standing in the aisle and shouting, “What we doing?” at Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda.
In one clip, he is seen throwing a pillow toward Yayo before flight crew members intervene. Reports indicate Ja Rule was removed from the aircraft and later travelled on a separate flight.
Long-Running Feud Context
Tony Yayo is a member of G-Unit, the hip-hop group founded by 50 Cent, while Uncle Murda is also affiliated with G-Unit and has frequently collaborated with 50 Cent.
Ja Rule’s long-running feud with 50 Cent dates back to the early 2000s and remains one of hip-hop’s most public rivalries. The confrontation on the flight is widely viewed within the context of that history.
Social Media Reaction And Podcast Response
After the footage circulated, Ja Rule initially addressed the encounter on social media, describing it as “hilarious” and stating that he handled the situation alone.
Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda later discussed the incident on their Real Report podcast, characterising it as trolling and saying no physical altercation took place.
Ja Rule Issues Public Apology
On February 12, Ja Rule shared a reflective statement on Instagram.
“I’m not proud of my behavior it’s goofy to me,” he wrote. “I’m a grown man about to be a grandfather and I wish that video of me wasn’t out there either.”
He apologised to his wife, family, fans, and business partners, adding,
“I don’t start trouble.”
