Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, has dismissed claims that she used a pity strategy to attract sympathy and votes during her time in the house.

Speaking during a recent TV interview, Imisi explained that she had little time to prepare for the show after receiving her acceptance email, leaving her no opportunity to craft any deliberate strategy.

She revealed that she simply packed the clothes she had available at the time and did not anticipate being selected for the reality show.

“I didn’t come in with a pity strategy. I didn’t even believe I was going to be picked for the show. When I got the mail, I had only a few days to pack. I was in Ijebu at the time, and I brought all the costumes I took to that location to my sister, then we started planning,” Imisi said.

Imisi stressed that her connection with viewers was natural, not the result of any calculated effort to evoke sympathy. She described her journey as unscripted and genuine from start to finish.

She was announced winner of BBNaija Season 10 on October 5, 2025, by the show’s host, EbukaObi-Uchendu.
