Gunna has launched his expansive Wun World Tour with a sold-out opening performance at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway. The performance marked the start of a 50-date global itinerary supporting his sixth studio album, “The Last Wun.”
The album was released on August 8 via YSL Records and 300 Entertainment. It debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The project features collaborations with artistes including Burna Boy, WizKid, and Normani.
Gunna performed a 19-song setlist that included career hits like “Drip Too Hard” and “Push Up,” along with new tracks such as “one of wun” and “back to the moon.” The 90-minute show included dynamic visuals and immersive pyrotechnics.
The rapper addressed the audience mid-set, acknowledging the energy of the opening night. He declared: “Boston, y’all set the tone—let’s take this worldwide.”
Due to high ticket demand, second dates were added in Toronto, Washington D.C., Amsterdam, and London. North American stops include a milestone headlining gig at Madison Square Garden on November 22 and his hometown of Atlanta on December 5.
Gunna also announced an expansion of his Wunna Run Club wellness program, which will now host events in 10 additional countries. Partnering with Live Nation and his nonprofit, Gunna’s Great Giveaway, $1 per ticket sold will support youth hunger relief via Goodr.
