2026 FIFA World Cup organisers said on Monday that the complete match schedule for all 104 games will be unveiled in a live global broadcast on Saturday. The Washington, D.C., unveiling will also include information on venues and kickoff times for all 104 games.
The event will occur a day after the final draw, at which the 48 teams will be drawn into 12 groups of four each. The draw determines group composition, but not specific match dates or venue assignments.
Gianni Infantino, President of FIFA, will lead the presentation, joined by former players and representatives from many of the already qualified teams.
FIFA said the match allocation process aims to create the best possible conditions for players and fans while accommodating global time zones to maximise live viewership worldwide.
The final schedule will be confirmed in March 2026, once the remaining six qualification spots are filled.
The World Cup, jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, is set to kick off in Mexico City on June 11 across 16 host cities.
