Fido Announces First Europe Tour “Joy Is Coming”

Fido is preparing for his first major European tour, “Joy Is Coming”, scheduled to run from 10 April to 23 May 2026.

The multi-city run marks a significant milestone in the singer’s career, expanding his reach beyond African stages and introducing his music to new international audiences.

Tour Announcement and Fan Excitement

Fido officially announced the tour in early February 2026 via his social media platforms, X and Instagram. He expressed excitement about taking the Afrobeats wave to Europe, thanked fans for their support, and promised high-energy performances across major cities.

In his words:

“We’re bringing vibes, we’re bringing heat, we’re bringing that Lagos energy all the way across the water!”

Inspired by Hit Single “Joy Is Coming”

The tour is named after his hit song “Joy Is Coming”, which has steadily gained popularity since its release, earning recognition in Nigeria and across global streaming platforms.

Known for his energetic live performances, Fido is expected to deliver a vibrant showcase of his biggest songs, alongside selections from his “Olayemi EP”.

Expanding International Presence

“Joy Is Coming” marks Fido’s first official European tour, following earlier regional performances in East Africa, including shows in Nairobi and Mombasa in 2025. Those appearances represented his first performances outside Nigeria and helped solidify his growing international fanbase.

Confirmed European Cities

Confirmed tour stops include:

  • Berlin
  • Amsterdam
  • Paris
  • Zurich
  • Madrid
  • London
  • Dublin

Additional locations are expected to be announced as the tour progresses. Fido has promised audiences “high-energy performances and unforgettable experiences,” highlighting his commitment to connecting with fans across borders.

A Milestone for Afrobeats

The singer’s rise has been powered by successful releases such as Awolowo and the “Olayemi EP”, strengthening his presence within the Afrobeats scene.

As he embarks on the “Joy Is Coming” Europe tour, Fido joins a growing wave of Afrobeats artistes taking Nigerian music to international stages, underscoring the genre’s expanding global influence.
