The singer shared a set of graphics that outlined major global issues his fortune could address. Her message quickly gained attention, especially as reports highlighted Musk’s growing financial power.
Eilish presented examples showing how large amounts of money could support hunger programmes or environmental efforts. She also pointed to the rising gap between rich and poor across America. Her comments came after she received the Music Innovator Award at the WSJ Magazine 2025 Innovator Awards, where she was honoured for raising $11.5 million to support food insecurity, climate justice and pollution causes.”
Musk replied online with a brief remark. In his words, he said she was “not the sharpest tool in the shed.”
Eilish later used her Instagram Story to issue a stronger message to the billionaire. She repeated her call for billionaires to consider wider global needs. Her posts addressed hunger, clean water, conservation, and rebuilding efforts in conflict-damaged regions.
Reports noted that Musk donated Tesla shares to charitable causes in recent years. Filings also showed that his foundation held billions in assets from past contributions. The documents indicated limited staff involvement and a slow distribution rate across selected sectors.
