Eberechi Eze stole the show at the Emirates Stadium, scoring a hat-trick as Arsenal thrashed Tottenham 4-1 on Sunday.
Leandro Trossard got the Gunners going in the 36th minute, and Eze struck just five minutes later to double the lead.
He made it 3-0 less than a minute into the second half, finishing from inside the area with composure. Tottenham briefly fought back in the 55th minute when Richarlison lobbed David Raya from distance. However, Eze completed his treble in the 76th minute with a powerful finish on the edge of the box.
“That is crazy. A special day, man. A special day for me and my family,” said Eze, who had scored just once in the league for Arsenal before his derby performance.
Arsenal are now unbeaten in nine league games and sit top of the table with 29 points from 12 matches.
Tottenham currently occupy ninth place on the table with 18 points.
