The city of Jos is gearing up for what is set to become its biggest entertainment experience yet, as the Dr Fish Carnival Mega Concert prepares to take over the Zaria Road Stadium on 6th December 2025.
The week-long carnival, running from 2nd to 7th December at the Dr Fish Event Centre in Kwang, promises an explosive blend of culture, comedy, and music, positioning Plateau State as a rising entertainment hub in Northern Nigeria.
This year’s edition lineup of performers are Mr P (P-Square), 9ice, Reminisce, Terry G, Terry Apala, Classiq, Joe El, Jumabee and more.
The comedy stage will feature Destalker, MC Shakara, Sarkin Dariya, Short Family, MC I Go Laugh, MC Royal, Kelvingreatmc, Dexdee, G-Tapzy, Youngee, MC Nappy, among many others.
The organisers have announced that four brand-new cars will be won on the concert night, a move expected to pull massive crowds from within and outside Plateau State.
Behind this ambitious project is Dr Samuel Adetunji, popularly known as Dr Fish a businessman and creative entrepreneur determined to change the entertainment landscape of the North. Dr Fish described the carnival as: “something new, something different… a cultural event bringing creative ideas to Plateau. We are adding value to what the government is doing”
He assured residents about the safety measures in place, saying: “The security is top-notch, the security is perfect. All security is highly guaranteed.”
Project Manager Jason Francis reinforced this, calling it “the biggest carnival Northern Nigeria has seen… something that will take time to replicate anywhere else.”
Ticket options are ₦5,000 for Regular and ₦20,000 for VIP.
