Kelly Rowland has revealed details of a private Destiny’s Child reunion held to celebrate Michelle Williams’ Grammy nomination.
Rowland said she, Beyoncé, and Williams gathered for an intimate dinner in early February 2026 in honour of Williams’ recognition at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
“I’m just gonna tell you this… So, the other night, literally, it was myself and Bey and Michelle, and we were literally just together to celebrate Michelle’s Grammy nom,” Rowland said.
She described the evening as “sisterhood at its finest”, noting that the trio spent the night laughing, reminiscing, and supporting one another in private.
Grammy Nomination For Broadway Role
Williams earned a nomination for Best Musical Theater Album as part of the original Broadway cast recording of “Death Becomes Her”, adapted from the 1992 film.
She stars in the production as Viola Van Horn. The nomination marks her eighth Grammy nod overall and her first solo-era nomination outside of Destiny’s Child releases or gospel collaborations, including “Say Yes”.
Destiny’s Child Reunions Over The Years
Destiny’s Child last released an album, “Destiny Fulfilled”, in 2004. The group has reunited publicly on select occasions, including:
- Beyoncé’s 2013 Super Bowl halftime show
- Her 2018 Coachella performance
- The 2025 Cowboy Carter Tour finale
