The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Utah Jazz 115-103 on Tuesday night, continuing their strong run of form.
Clippers Control the Game
Kawhi Leonard scored 21 points and James Harden added 16 points and 10 assists. The win was the Clippers’ ninth in their last 10 games.
Kris Dunn and Brook Lopez contributed 14 points each, while Los Angeles capitalised on Utah’s mistakes, scoring 23 points off 17 turnovers. Dunn and Harden combined for nine steals.
Jazz Struggles Continue
Utah was led by Ace Bailey with 20 points. Lauri Markkanen added 19 points and two blocks in his return from illness. The Jazz were without starters Keyonte George and Jusuf Nurkic and have now managed just one win in their last eight outings.
Turning Point
After Utah’s fast start, Los Angeles took control midway through the third quarter with a decisive scoring run. The Clippers opened a 73-61 lead and pushed the advantage to as many as 19 points.
Harden and Lopez knocked down back-to-back three-pointers to complete a 9-0 run. Utah could not recover as the Clippers closed out another convincing victory.
