Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the 2025 International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) Women’s Best Goalkeeper Award.
The 24-year-old Nigerian goalkeeper was recognised after a strong season with both her former club, Paris FC, and the Super Falcons of Nigeria.
Nnadozie began her career at Rivers Angels before moving to Paris FC, where she played a key role in their Coupe de France Féminine title win in June. She also contributed significantly to Nigeria’s victory at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
In addition, she made history by finishing fourth in the 2025 Yashin Trophy rankings — the first African and Nigerian goalkeeper to reach that position.
The winner of the IFFHS Women’s Best Goalkeeper Award will be announced in December 2025.
