Cardi B Reveals Her Arena Tour Is Millions Over Budget

Cardi B has opened up about the financial strain behind her upcoming Little Miss Drama Tour, revealing that the production costs have exceeded expectations by several million dollars.

The rapper shared the update while preparing for the tour, which marks her first headlining arena run across North America.

“I’m Over a Couple of Million”

According to Cardi, repeated attempts to cut costs have failed, forcing her to accept the reality of the situation.

“I’m over a couple of million on my budget tour,” she said. “We redid the budget, so now it’s just like I gotta go find the money.”

She added that she may need to personally fund certain aspects of the show to meet her creative vision.

“Or I would have to put some of my own money for things that I want because I went over my budget.”

Cardi also revealed that budgeting discussions have become a constant part of the planning process.

“I feel like we do the budget every other week,” she said.

Managing Expectations

Addressing fan expectations, Cardi was candid about the scale of her production.

“I ain’t no damn Beyoncé, so don’t be expecting any of that,” she said. “I don’t got that production money, but I’m gonna give it all I got.”

Despite the budget challenges, the rapper assured fans that she remains fully committed to delivering a high-energy and memorable experience.

About the Album and Tour

The Little Miss Drama Tour supports Cardi B’s second studio album, Am I the Drama?, which was released in September 2025. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, earning 200,000 equivalent album units in its first week.

The tour features 36 dates across the United States and Canada, with stops in Las Vegas, Miami, Boston, Chicago, Toronto, and Atlanta.

The tour will wrap up with two major shows at Madison Square Garden in New York, marking a significant milestone in Cardi B’s career.
