Britney Spears has deactivated her Instagram account once more, drawing public attention amid fresh headlines about her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s memoir.
The pop star’s Instagram page, previously listed under the name Xila Maria River Red, now displays a message stating the profile is unavailable. Reports say the account disappeared between Saturday, 1 November, and Sunday, 2 November. The move came shortly after Federline released his book You Thought You Knew.
The memoir contains several allegations about Spears’ personal life and their two-year marriage, drawing responses from her representatives, who described the claims as efforts to profit from her past. The 43-year-old singer had earlier expressed frustration through posts addressing what she called false and damaging stories.
Before the account disappeared, Spears posted messages criticising people she said were profiting her pain. She reflected on her struggles during her conservatorship and time in rehab, writing that she had moved forward but still felt affected by earlier experiences.
Recent posts also showed visible bruises on her arms, with bandages on both hands and her right knee, which Spears explained resulted from a fall at a friend’s house.
