Bayern Munich staged a dramatic turnaround to beat Sporting CP 3-1 on Tuesday. All three goals for Bayern came in the second half within 12 minutes.
Sporting went ahead in the 54th minute when Joshua Kimmich turned a cross into his own net.
Bayern responded just 11 minutes later. Serge Gnabry volleyed home from a corner in the 65th minute to draw level.
In the 69th minute, 17-year-old Lennart Karl fired in the go-ahead goal. The goal made him the youngest player ever to score in three consecutive Champions League appearances.
“To play in the Champions League at 17 is something special for me,” a beaming Karl said. “I am very proud of myself and the team,” Karl said post-match.
Nine minutes later, Jonathan Tah capped off the fightback with a close-range finish.
The comeback lifts Bayern to second place with 15 points. Sporting, meanwhile, remain thirteenth with 10 points.
