Bad Bunny’s “DtMF” Hits No. 1 After Super Bowl

Bad Bunny has officially reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with his solo track “DtMF.” The Puerto Rican superstar last topped the chart in 2018 as a featured artiste on Cardi B and J Balvin’s “I Like It”.

The achievement follows his performance at Super Bowl LX on 8 February 2026. His halftime set concluded with “DtMF,” which had originally peaked at No.2 in January 2025. Four other Bad Bunny songs also appear in the top ten this week, including “Baile Inolvidable”, “Nuevayol”, and Tití Me Preguntó.

Streaming Surge After Halftime Show

According to Luminate, “DtMF” generated 10.4 million on-demand U.S. streams on 9 February, the day after the Super Bowl.

Overall, Bad Bunny’s catalogue amassed nearly 100 million streams that day, marking a 175 percent increase compared with the previous week.

Album Background And Musical Direction

The track appears on his 2025 album Debí Tirar Más Fotos, which blends traditional Puerto Rican plena rhythms with contemporary urbano styles.

Speaking about the album, Bad Bunny said:

“It has a lot of meaning in terms of wishing I had seized certain moments. It’s about enjoying the moment when I could and valuing memories.”

Continued Record-Breaking Success

In February, Bad Bunny became the first artiste to win Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards for a Spanish-language album.

With 14 previous top-ten entries, he holds the record for the most top-ten appearances by a Latin act in the United States, further cementing his dominance on the Hot 100.
